"Heather came to give a performance for the long term care facility I work at. The residents LOVED the bag pipes and she was very accommodating and answered all of our questions. Heather was also very interactive with our residents which made for a very fun experience. In addition, she was timely and professional. I would certainly ask her to play again in the future. Thanks Heather!” – Jill Cole, Director of Recreation at Queens Manor

“Thank-you so much for coming today. The students had such a wonderful time. I was talking to some students afterwards and they were so excited about all those instruments you brought from around the world. They also enjoyed the bag pipes because many of them had not seen one before.

So thanks again for joining our music class and we would love to have you come again sometime.” – Charlene, Elementary School Teacher

The South Shore is so fortunate and blessed to have the opportunity to learn from her. We miss you dearly Heather.” – The Reverend Peter Rafuse, Rector of The Parish of The Resurrection, Sydney and Louisbourg.

“Anyone who plays the pipes brings with them centuries of history and tradition. The Queen’s Piper plays for her (as a minimum) for 15 minutes each weekday morning. Hopefully, Heather’s efforts to help others to play the pipes mean that we’ll all get to enjoy her playing more often! ” – Jim Muckle, Executive, Chester Basin Legion Everett Branch #88

“What a wonderful to treat it was for all of us to have Ian Duncan perform for our party at Hubbard’s Barn! Ian is very good! He is very conscientious and I would recommend him highly. Thank you very much!”  - Ajana Thomchuck, Govt of Nova Scotia

“Our Mother loved the bagpipes and we knew immediately that having a piper at her funeral service would be a meaningful way to honour her memory. We found Scotia Music and Pat on the Internet and contacted him in the hope that there was a piper available on very short notice. When unable to locate a piper where the service was to be held, Pat drove from his home in N.S. to N.B (over 600 kms) to ensure that we did not go without.

We met Pat shortly before the service, and considering that he was a complete stranger his gift as a piper and a musician helped to make one of our darkest days one we will remember and forever cherish.

Thank-you somehow seems inadequate, but we do so from the bottom of our hearts.”  - Pam, Cindy and Karen
