A look to the future with The Pipers Guild!

RobbieBurns_18Hello folks!

Well, it’s middle of November, and that means several things.  First, I don’t post often enough! Second, it’s only six weeks until Christmas!  Third, it’s time to start thinking about Robbie Burns Night again!  The Pipers Guild, in conjunction with the Shelburne Harbour Yacht Club, is hosting its second Burns night.  This will be held on January 21st at the Yacht Club, just off Water Street in Shelburne.  Cocktails and Musical Fair start at 6:30 pm, with the official Entrance and Welcome commencing at 7 pm.  A full Burns dinner will be served, and ever-favourite Killick will be leading the musical contribution to the evening!  Tickets will all be by reservation only, with prices for members and non-members TBA soon.  Seating is limited to 80 and tickets will sell quickly!  These make great Christmas gifts.  Dress is business formal minimum, kilts or period dress are highly and actively encouraged!  The event will be a major fundraiser for the club.  Please come out for a wonderful evening!!  For further information, call 1-902-875-7826 or email

First news post!

Hello everyone!  This is my first news posting on the new website.  As I grow more comfortable with this technology, I will expand and add music and video.  For now, I will stick to the basics.

We’re having steady traffic on the website and lots of inquiries for 2016.  People are asking for pipers in particular, but other forms of entertainment are also in demand.  This is why I’m always interested in hearing from musicians.  I need you!  The Pipers Guild also has connections to singers, bands, caterers, DJ’s, photographers, you name it!

Come visit the site.  Drop me a line and tell me how you enjoyed the visit. If you have any questions or comments, I want to hear from you!
